Wow ... I have to say that I am blown away by the music I am hearing in the studio this week.  These players are so good, I can't even put it into words ... you will have to listen to the album and hear it for yourself!  So far this week we have recorded 4 songs for my Lead Vocals and have been editing/mixing as we go to keep this project on track!  I have been posting pictures and videos to my Facebook Page, so please head on over to my Facebook Page for more 'Day to Day' updates.

I have finalized my tour for December on Vancouver Island and I will be performing 10 shows in 9 Cities!  I am also open to performing at House Concerts should anyone reading be interested.  Please email me at beth@bethanderson.ca if you are interested in hosting a House Concert!  Cities and Dates will be announced soon.

BMO Conference, Bluebird Cafe & More!

Posted by on May 18th, 2016 at 1:00 pm

What an amazing trip!  It started out really rocky ....I almost missed my last flight to Nashville, the car I rented wasn't available (or any car) at the Hertz and nobody from that company would help me .... BUT half a day later, once I got to the place I was staying (Hit Song Casa) Joyce left me in the hands of her partner Danny and he helped me get a good deal on a car rental and a nice upgrade through Dollar.  After I had a car, things were off to the races!

I spent the first few days writing with my closest friends and writing at the new SESAC building (so beautiful!), played a few shows at Skully's Saloon and Belcourt Taps, and went shopping for shoes :)  I was SO excited to write with Anna Johnson, someone I consider to be a fantastic artist and I am glad to call her a friend.  We started a killer song at McPherson Studios on Music row and I'm looking forward to finishing it!  It was so great to meet and write with Steve Mitchell, an amazing writer in Nashville but originally from BC!  We wrote an awesome song that I think might be one of my radio singles for 2017/2018.  I had so much fun writing with other songwriters and artists, Stevie Jewel, Melissa Megan, Lynn Wilbanks, Lauren Ashley, Bill DiLuigi, Robin Ruddy, Melissa Miller and many others.

I was SO EXCITED to perform at the BMO Nesbitt Burns conference.  It was a huge stage with giant guitars, big screens on either side with my picture on it, a captive audience of about 300 people and such great sound.  It couldn't have gone better and everyone was so welcoming.  I will be posting video and hopefully pictures soon when I get them emailed to me.

I was only in town for 11 days but before we left I was able to perform with Melissa Megan at the Bluebird Cafe which is always an awesome experience.  The audience is quiet, appreciative of the lyrics and so respectful.  We got the loudest claps of the night ... so we'll take that ;)

Overall, it might have been a whirlwind trip but I was so happy with what I accomplished and I was so excited to watch Melissa Megan experience Nashville full swing and feed off her excitement of performing/writing in Nashville for the first time.  It was a super magical trip and I am so blessed to be able to work with such talented and humble people :)

Nashville Bound!

Posted by on May 6th, 2016 at 1:00 pm

I am so excited to be heading to Nashville again!  It has almost been a year and I miss all my friends and co-writers so very much!  This trip I will be doing a few cool things for me but a lot of this trip is going to be about writing new material for Melissa Megan, a new artist out of Ontario, and playing shows and showcases with her!  I will be writing and performing, and I am excited to be kicking off the BMO Nesbitt Burns conference downtown Nashville!  More updates coming soon :)
